This kitchen design project started from a feeling rather than a fixed style: moody, nostalgic, and grounded, with a quiet sense of elegance.

The material palette combines natural wood, marble, limewash walls, brass details, and glass to create depth, texture, and warmth. A double bullnose marble edge introduces soft detailing that interacts with light throughout the space.

The layout is designed around both flow and function. The working triangle is maintained, with a clear separation between active and passive zones, and continuous countertop surfaces provide generous preparation space without the need for an island or peninsula.

A custom breakfast bar with soft curves is integrated along the west wall, echoing the adjacent coffee station cabinetry and softening the geometry of the room. The range and hood wall acts as the visual focal point, framed naturally through the main sightline from the opposite arched opening.

The result is a kitchen that feels atmospheric yet highly functional; structured around daily use, movement, and visual calm.
